Oppo has released another MediaTek Dimensity-powered smartphone after launching the Dimensity 9500-backed Find X9 and Find X9 Pro earlier this year. While the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, the Reno15 Pro occupies Oppo's mid-range product line. Incidentally, the same is true for the Reno15, full details of which we have covered separately.
Like the Reno15, the Reno15 Pro leverages the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, an all-ARM Cortex-A725 octa-core chipset split into three clusters with one prime core, three performance cores and four efficiency cores. Additionally, the Dimensity 8450 provides the Reno15 Pro with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU that Oppo complements with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 flash storage and a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 80 W wired charging.
Additionally, the Reno15 Pro features a 6.78-inch display that outputs at 2,772 x 1,272 pixels with 1,800 nits peak brightness and a 1-120 Hz variable refresh rate. An AMOLED panel, the mid-sized display is also surrounded by 1.15 mm thick bezels on all sides to achieve overall dimensions of 161 x 76 mm with 7.65 mm thickness for all but the device's Starlight Bow finish that adds an extra 0.1 mm.
The Reno15 Pro weighs 205 g though, which puts it somewhere between the weights of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Plus (curr. $901 on Amazon). Unlike Samsung's flagships, the Reno15 Pro contains high megapixel cameras across the board, with 200 MP primary (1/1.56-inch), 50 MP ultra-wide (116° FoV), 50 MP telephoto (85 mm/3.5x optical) and 50 MP (100° FoV) front-facing lenses to choose from.
The Reno15 Pro starts at CNY 3,699 (~$520) with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. However, Oppo also offers the device in four other memory configurations, culminating in a 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage SKU that retails for CNY 4,799 (~$675). There is no word on an international release yet, though.
