iQOO has officially launched the iQOO 15 smartphone in the Indian market. The company’s new gaming-focused smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a massive 7,000 mAh battery. It’s now available in India via Amazon and other authorized retailers.

iQOO, Vivo’s gaming-focused smartphone manufacturer sub-brand, introduced the iQOO 15 last month in China. Now, the company has officially launched its latest generation gaming smartphone in the Indian market. Available in Alpha, Legend, and Grey colorways, the iQOO 15 starts at INR 72,999 (~$815/€705) for the base 12 GB + 256 model, while the 16 GB + 512 GB variant is priced at INR 79,999 (~$895/€775).

As a part of the launch offer, both variants will be available at an effective price of INR 64,999 (~$728) and INR 71,999 ($806), respectively. Open sales will begin on December 1 via iQOO’s official website and Amazon. Speaking of other markets' availability, the smartphone is all set to launch in Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Russia on November 28 and December 2, 3, 5, and 9, respectively.

Specs-wise, there’s no difference in the Chinese and Indian variants. A direct rival to the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. available at $1,019 on Amazon), the iQOO 15 features Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset coupled with iQOO’s Q3 computing chip and up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage with no room for storage expansion. It runs Android 16-based Origin OS out of the box. This time around, the company promises five Android updates (Android 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21) and seven years of security updates until 2031.

The smartphone sports a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display that outputs at a resolution of 1,440p with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. On top of that, the panel supports Dolby Vision and comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. You get a triple rear camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50 MP primary camera, a 50 MP ultrawide lens, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto unit.

The iQOO 15 packs a large 7,000 mAh Si/C battery that supports 100 W wired and 40 W wireless charging. Other features include NFC, an IR blaster, stereo speakers, monster halo lights, an IP68 and IP69 waterproof rating, and eSIM support.
