The iQoo 15 is a performance-oriented smartphone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It was released in November 2025 in the global market. Previous rumors suggested that iQoo would also release an Ultra model in its flagship series. The rumors have proven accurate, as the company has now officially confirmed the iQoo 15 Ultra.
On Weibo, the company confirmed that the iQoo 15 Ultra will launch before the Spring Festival. The launch is therefore expected in January or early February since the Spring Festival starts on February 17. Do note that the launch has been confirmed only for the Chinese market, with no word on international availability.
Similar to the standard iQoo 15, the iQoo 15 Ultra will be a performance-oriented smartphone. According to rumors, it may feature shoulder triggers and an active cooling fan. Moreover, an earlier leak revealed that iQoo was testing a display with 2K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, which the upcoming Ultra model may feature.
For context, the vanilla iQoo 15 features a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support (250W Anker Prime Charger curr. $99 on Amazon). Apart from the Ultra model, the iQoo 15 series is rumored to include a compact performance phone, expected to launch later this year.
