Thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and a 7,000mAh battery for approximately $350, the Vivo iQOO Z11 Turbo promises a very good price-performance ratio, at least in China. The device is also expected to feature a 200MP camera and a 5,000-nit AMOLED display.

With the iQOO Z11 Turbo, Vivo has introduced a new mid-range smartphone that is intended to offer specifications close to a flagship device at a much lower price. The device sports a relatively simple design with a flat frame, a punch-hole selfie camera and a square camera bump that houses just two cameras.

Vivo apparently decided against a telephoto camera in order to keep the price low. Instead, the company offers a 200MP f/1.88 main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and a 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera utilizes a 32MP sensor. Additionally, the 6.59-inch display is based on an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a high PWM frequency of 4,320Hz and a peak HDR brightness of 5,000 nits. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display.

With a thickness of 0.31 inches and a weight of 7.1 oz, the water-resistant chassis of the iQOO Z11 Turbo is relatively compact. Vivo still manages to fit a massive 7,600mAh battery, which can be charged via USB-C at up to 100 watts, although wireless charging is not supported. The handset is further powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which means that the iQOO Z11 Turbo is expected to come fairly close to flagship smartphone performance and should therefore also be suitable for mobile gaming fans.

Price and availability

The Vivo iQOO Z11 Turbo will first launch on the Chinese market. Vivo asks the equivalent of $344 for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage, while the top variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage retails for $530.
