Honor isn't done with the Magic 8 series, as it plans to unveil two additional models — the Magic 8 Pro Air and the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design — on January 19. Ahead of the launch, Honor has released a poster revealing the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design will be getting a photography kit.
According to a Weibo post made by Honor, the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design has an industry-leading CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association) image stabilization rating of 6.5. For comparison, the Honor Magic 8 Pro has a CIPA rating of 5.5. By pairing this feature with the photography kit, which includes a teleconverter, Honor says users will be able to capture breathtaking images.
In addition to the teleconverter, the photography kit also includes a special case that allows the teleconverter to attach to the phone. There's also a professional imaging grip with a shutter and a scroll wheel. The Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design joins the Oppo Find X9 Ultra/Find X9 Pro and the Vivo X300 Pro on the list of flagship smartphones with a photography kit.
The Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design will be launched first in China at 19:30 (GMT+8) on January 19. According to reports, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, have a 200MP telephoto camera with an 85mm equivalent focal length, and pack a 7,200mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
