The Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G is now official globally alongside the cheaper Redmi Note 15 4G, Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G. The effective mid-tier option in the series, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G directly replaces the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G that launched internationally about a year ago (curr. $249.99 on Amazon).
Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not afforded its new smartphone many upgrades to distinguish it from its predecessor. For example, 200 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 32 MP front-facing cameras return, as does a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, which has been bumped to 3,200 nits peak brightness. However, the display still outputs at 1080p with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling.
Other upgrades include a 6,500 mAh battery with 45 W wired charging compared to the 5,500 mAh battery that powers the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G. Also, Xiaomi has swapped MediaTek's Helio G100 Ultra for the Helio G200 Ultra, which is unlikely to yield the same performance boost experience between the Redmi Note 14 5G and the Redmi Note 15 5G.
For some reason, Xiaomi has decided against the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G in the UK unlike the rest of the Redmi Note 15 series. Instead, the device starts across the Eurozone for €349.90 with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and a choice between Black, Glacier Blue and Titanium colour options. Alternatively, the handset can be picked up at the same price with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for a €50 saving on its MSRP. Please see Xiaomi's website for more details.
