The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is now officially available to purchase from Xiaomi across Europe and the UK. Showcased late last year as a replacement for the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (curr. $295 on Amazon), the new model makes a few changes from its predecessor. Not least of which, Xiaomi has updated the device's design, which is now flatter and eschews a curved display altogether.
Nonetheless, a few features return like 200 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 20 MP front-facing cameras. Likewise, charging capabilities remain unchanged at 45 W, although battery capacity has grown from 5,110 mAh to 6,580 mAh. Similarly, the newer Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset will only offer modest performance improvements over the Dimensity 7300 Ultra that underpins last year's model.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has increased the display size between generations from 6.67-inches to 6.83-inches. As a result, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G outputs at 2,772 x 1,280 pixels, which Xiaomi complements with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, 3,200 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is available in Black, Glacier Blue and Titanium finishes with three memory configurations up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. At launch, Xiaomi has discounted the device from £349 to £279 in the UK. By contrast, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G currently costs €379 regardless of whether you opt for 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.
