The Honor Magic 8 Pro has landed in Europe, starting with Germany. The flagship brings several upgrades over its predecessor, such as a sharper but smaller screen, a bigger battery, and a better build.

Following a launch in the UK earlier this month, Honor has launched the Magic 8 Pro in Germany. The Android phone arrives with a flagship chipset, high-end cameras, and a premium build quality.

The Honor Magic 8 Pro has a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1256 x 2808 resolution, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. It also features Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and Honor EyeComfort Display technology, which brings 4320Hz PWM-dimming, dynamic dimming, and AI defocus.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is available in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, unlike in China, where RAM goes up to 16GB and storage options start from 256GB and max out at 1TB.

For its cameras, the phone has three rear cameras that include a 50MP f/1.6 Ultra Night main camera and a 200MP f/2.6 telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. Both the main and ultrawide cameras have a CIPA 5.5 stabilization rating. There's also a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide-angle camera. On the front, the Magic 8 Pro has a 50MP camera and a 3D depth-sensing camera for face unlock.

Unsurprisingly, the Magic 8 Pro features Honor's AiMage technology, such as Magic Color, which analyzes a photo from any source and creates a unique color tone from that image that a user can easily apply to future photos.

The Honor Magic 8 Pro is equipped with a 6270mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 100W fast wired charging and 80W fast wireless charging. Honor says the phone has three Honor E2 power management chips that help with voltage optimization and thermal control for long-term battery health.

The phone also has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a dedicated AI button, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and dual SIM support (eSIM support). Honor also says the phone features SGS-certified 10x drop resistance and a triple IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust- and water-resistant rating.

Available in Black, Sunrise Gold, and Sky Cyan, the Magic 8 Pro ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 and is available to buy now in Germany for €1,299.90.
