In our review, the Vivo iQOO 15 proves to be a real bargain among mid-range smartphones. For less than $700, the gaming smartphone offers features that are otherwise only found in flagship models.
However, this also comes at a "price", as Vivo markets the iQOO 15 only in a few countries outside of China. This means that buyers may have to resort to importing the model.
Android phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in the mid-range smartphone segment
The Vivo iQOO 15 offers excellent value for money. On the software side, it runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6, including English language support (among others), access to the Google Play Store and Android Auto. Vivo also promises up to seven years of updates.,
In these accompanying articles, we highlight the special features of the iQOO 15, gaming capabilities and its excellent main camera.
Unlike other gaming smartphones, the Vivo smartphone has a high-quality metal frame, IP68/IP69 certification, and a high screen-to-body ratio of almost 91%, including narrow bezels. The very well-functioning ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and the excellent vibration motor with crisp feedback are also rarely found in the mid-range.
Gamers will appreciate Samsung's extra-bright and very large 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a high 1,440p resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. The iQOO 15 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which delivers very strong performance in benchmarks, especially in graphics-intensive applications.
