Vivo's latest gaming phone features Halo Dynamic Light, a technology that would also look great on an iPhone 18 or Galaxy S26. The colored light ring around the camera can be assigned various functions. Unlike the "Nothing" phones, the iQOO 15's LED ring is subtle, yet very useful.

The Vivo iQOO 15 offers a first-class overall package in the mid-range segment and can be described as a true flagship killer. In our review, the gaming phone impresses not only with its strong specs, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but also with its appealing everyday usability. This is thanks to the fast ultrasonic sensor, the precise vibration motor, and the long battery life. You can find all the information about the iQOO 15 here.

We were particularly impressed by the LED light strip around the rear camera module, a feature that other manufacturers would do well to adopt, as the camera LED ring is subtle yet effective.

In addition to the color, the way the LED ring lights up can also be customized. The Halo Dynamic Light serves as a visual indicator for notifications, calls or gaming events. Users can customize the lighting functions in the settings menu.

Vivo's gaming smartphone offers a similar range of features to Nothing with its Glyph interface, although the LED band around the camera of the iQOO 15 is much less conspicuous.

In addition to various settings for different Android games, the dynamic light element on the back can be used for notifications. Apps can be individually configured or deactivated. Both the color and the display effect can be customized to personal preference.
