Oppo to launch two new Find N foldables in 2026 with Apple iPhone Fold rival still rumoured
The foldable smartphone market received a fresh jolt in the arm this week when Motorola unveiled the Razr Fold. Debuting a few months after Samsung released the Galaxy Z TriFold, the Razr Fold could well be much cheaper than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold or Galaxy Z Fold7 (curr. $1,649 on Amazon) at launch too.
However, Motorola has indicated that the Razr Fold will not be ready until the summer. In the meantime, recent rumours suggest that Oppo could have the Find N6 waiting in the wings to replace the Find N5. To recap, Oppo executives teased the return of smaller form factor foldables in August as alternatives to Apple's long-rumoured iPhone Fold.
According to SmartPrix, the Find N6 is on track to debut next month in China with a global launch to follow in March. Currently, Oppo is believed to have based this device around the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with 16 GB of RAM and 120 Hz displays on hand too, as well as a 6,000 mAh battery and an optional satellite connectivity variant exclusive to China.
Reportedly, this hardware is set to be joined by 200 MP primary, 50 MP telephoto and 50 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras within a housing weighing around 225 g, too. Moreover, SmartPrix asserts that this camera hardware will make its way into a wider foldable referred to as the Find N7. Allegedly, Oppo plans to unveil this iPhone Fold rival in September. Whether the company makes the device available internationally or via its OnePlus sister brand remains to be seen at this point, though.
