Apple has announced the launch of Apple Creator Studio, a new subscription bundle that brings together several of its professional creative applications under a single plan priced at $12.99 per month or $129 per year, with a discounted rate of $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year available to students and educators. The service will be available starting January 28 and includes a one-month free trial for new subscribers, expanding Apple’s growing portfolio of subscription offerings while leaving its existing one-time purchase options in place.
The Apple Creator Studio bundle includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro across both Mac and iPad, alongside Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on the Mac. Subscribers also gain access to premium content and features within Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, with Apple confirming that Freeform will be added to the bundle at a later date. These applications cover video editing, music production, image editing, motion graphics, live performance, and productivity, offering a consolidated package aimed at creators who work across Apple’s hardware platforms.
Alongside the announcement of Apple Creator Studio, Apple confirmed a range of feature updates for several of the included applications. Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad gains Transcript Search for locating dialogue and soundbites, Visual Search for finding clips using text descriptions, and Beat Detection to assist with rhythm-based editing, while the iPad version also adds Montage Maker and Auto Crop to help with faster project setup and reframing. Logic Pro receives new tools, including Synth Player, Chord ID, an expanded sound library, and natural language search, continuing Apple’s focus on simplifying access to advanced music production features.
Pixelmator Pro, which Apple acquired in 2024, is also expanding its reach through the bundle with its first release on iPad, bringing layered image editing, Apple Pencil support, and performance optimizations to mobile devices. Motion and Compressor remain positioned as companion tools for Final Cut Pro, offering motion graphics creation and advanced output controls, while MainStage continues to support live performance use cases by turning Macs into instruments, guitar rigs, or vocal processors.
Apple Creator Studio also extends into Apple’s iWork suite by unlocking a new Content Hub within Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, where subscribers can access additional photos, graphics, and illustrations, as well as premium templates and themes. Apple confirmed that subscribers will also receive early access to selected beta features, including tools in Keynote that generate presentation drafts from text outlines and in Numbers that assist with formula creation and automated table filling.
Apple stated that all creative applications included in Apple Creator Studio will remain available as standalone purchases on the Mac App Store, while free versions of Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and Freeform will continue to be offered separately. The company also noted that the subscription supports Family Sharing, allowing access to be shared among up to six people within a household.
