LG has offered up new details about the UltraGear Evo 27GM950B following its debut in late December. For context, LG showcased the UltraGear Evo 27GM950B alongside the UltraGear Evo 52G930B and the UltraGear OLED 39GX950B before CES 2026 in Las Vegas. While not as fast as the recent UltraGear OLED 27GX790B (curr. $999.99 on Amazon), the UltraGear Evo 27GM950B has a few tricks up its sleeve.
For instance, the UltraGear Evo 27GM950B utilises 2,304 Mini LED backlight zones across its IPS panel to reach 1,250 nits in some areas, for which it has received a VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Moreover, the new monitor promises 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, 0.05 nit black levels and DeltaE <2 factory colour calibration. On top of that, the UltraGear Evo 27GM950B boasts 1 ms GtG response times with Nvidia G-Sync to mitigate image tearing.
Also, the monitor can output at 5K2K (5,210 x 2,880) and 165 Hz or WQHD (2,560 x 1,440) and 330 Hz to its HDMI, DisplayPort 2.1 or USB Type-C ports. Incidentally, the latter can also recharge a connected device at up to 90 W. Pre-orders for the UltraGear Evo 27GM950B will begin soon in Japan. LG has not confirmed pricing or availability for other markets yet, though.
