The book-style foldable market is heating up again after a period of silence. To recap, the Mate X7 is the segment's most recent release, with Pixel 10 Pro Fold shipments beginning about a month beforehand (curr. $1,799 on Amazon). However, it seems that both the Oppo Find N6 and the Honor Magic V6 are almost ready to go.
Earlier this week, the former surfaced on the CCC in China. In the process, the regulatory body outlined that Oppo will release Find N6 variants with and without satellite connectivity. Shortly afterwards, Honor confirmed that the Magic V6 would be making its global debut in March during MWC 2026 in Barcelona.
Now, the latter has turned up at the same regulatory body. Previously, leakers like Digital Chat Station suggested that Magic V6 prototypes had reached 7,000 mAh batteries. The CCC's listing indicates that retail units could ship with a 7,150 mAh typical battery capacity, though. If that occurs, then this change would represent a 17% generational upgrade between the Magic V5 and Magic V6.
Unfortunately, we should caveat that this may only be true in China. Currently, Honor equips the international version of the Magic V5 with a 4.5% smaller battery than units sold in China. Thus, while a battery upgrade for the international version of the Magic V6 is likely, we doubt its battery capacity will reach that of its Chinese counterpart.
