Oppo never officially released its Find N5 foldable in North America or Europe. As a result, the OnePlus Open remains the most recent foldable that either Oppo or OnePlus sold in many countries despite being based on the older Find N3. Reportedly, OnePlus cancelled the Open 2 too before seemingly being gutted in all but India.
According to Yogesh Brar, Oppo has a different strategy in mind for the Find N6. Apparently, the company intends to launch its next foldable across Europe and South Asia but not in India. As the embedded tweet below shows, Brar indicates that Europe and South Asia will receive the Find N6 at the same time as China on March 17.
Moreover, the same leaker highlights several rumoured features like a 200 MP primary camera to match the Galaxy Z Fold7 (curr. $1,599.99 on Amazon). The Find N6 is tipped to be one of the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered smartphones too, although the Honor Magic V6 could be the first. Pricing remains unknown for now, as does what the Find N6 looks like. Oppo's next foldable is expected to be thinner and lighter than the Find N5 we reviewed almost a year ago, though.
