Samsung confirms new release date for ultra-premium foldable

Samsung finally released the Galaxy Z TriFold in the US last month. Available on January 30, the first-generation device promptly sold out that same day. Apparently, Samsung exhausted its initial US supply in under half an hour. However, that says just as much about the device's limited US availability as its popularity.
Almost a month later, and the Galaxy Z TriFold is set to return to the US as part of its first restock. Unfortunately, Samsung has decided against revealing how many units it plans to sell this time around. Thus, we suspect that Samsung plans to sell the Galaxy Z TriFold in extremely low volumes again. Galaxy Z TriFold sales will return on February 20 at 07:00 ET and 10:00 PT.
Please note that Samsung's first tri-foldable retails for $2,899 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The device also features the same cover display and Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset as the Galaxy Z Fold7 (curr. $1,599 on Amazon). Also, some early adopters have already experienced display issues, full details of which we have covered separately. Please see our hands-on comparing the Galaxy Z TriFold with the Huawei Mate XT for full details about Samsung's first tri-foldable smartphone.
