Honor has already teed up MWC 2026 as the jumping-off point for its new Magic V6 foldable. In response, Motorola has confirmed that its competing Razr Fold will be attending the same event amid rumours of a $1,500 starting price.

Almost two months have passed since Motorola officially showcased the Razr Fold. In the intervening period, neither Google nor Samsung have brought anything new to the table in the world of book-style foldables. In fact, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Galaxy Z Fold7 (curr. $1,029 - refurbished on Amazon).

However, Honor is preparing to launch the Magic V6 globally. At the same time, Oppo has begun teasing the Find N6 in China. Based on recent rumours, Oppo will offer the Find N6 in multiple markets to offset the cancellation of the OnePlus Open 2.

For context, Honor has already confirmed that the Magic V6 will debut globally on March 1 with a full MWC 2026 showcase occurring a day later. Now, Motorola has outlined that it will be responding in kind by bringing the Razr Fold to Barcelona next week, too.

Allegedly, the Razr Fold will retail for around $1,500 in the US. This comparatively low starting price may come at the cost of a weaker chipset than its rivals, though. At this stage, it is unclear whether Motorola will reveal full Razr Fold details during MWC 2026.
