OnePlus 15T tipped to surpass Galaxy S26 Ultra with magnetic charging support

OnePlus recently confirmed that it would be launching a new compact flagship smartphone soon. Now, Digital Chat Station has weighed in on some of the device's features.
On the one hand, the leaker asserts that the OnePlus 15T will leverage Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. In that sense, the OnePlus 15T should be closer in performance to the OnePlus 15 than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-backed OnePlus 15R (curr. $699.99 on Amazon).

On the other hand, the OnePlus 15T should be smaller than both smartphones thanks to a 6.32-inch display. Nonetheless, the device is expected to feature a battery capacity in excess of 7,000 mAh. According to Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15T will support wireless charging, with 100 W wired charging support also rumoured.
Additionally, the leaker asserts that the OnePlus 15T will be Apple MagSafe compatible. Thus, it sounds as if the device will contain Qi2 magnets, which would help it surpass the Samsung Galaxy S26 family in the process. OnePlus has developed a new magnetic cooling accessory to minimise thermal throttling under load.
