Xiaomi shares new cryptic teaser with Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max global releases imminent

Xiaomi is about to launch new flagships globally. Specifically, the company has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be launching outside China on February 28. Based on recent leaks, these will be joined by a re-branded Leica Edition smartphone, too.
By the looks of things, the company will not be keeping fans waiting long for new Poco smartphones, either. For the last few weeks, Xiaomi has been showcasing the strength of the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro (curr. $349.99 on Amazon) on its global X channel. While current generation smartphones, it is unusual for Xiaomi to continually post about year-old smartphones.
However, it looks like Xiaomi has been using these posts to lay the groundwork for Poco X8 series successors. Although Xiaomi has not confirmed as much yet, the embedded tweet below implies that the company is about to start teasing new Poco X series smartphones. Currently, the series is thought to consist of the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max.
Full release details remain unknown at this stage. With that being said, Xiaomi Belgium has already shared product images of both devices with pricing to match. Both smartphones should feature powerful MediaTek chipsets and comparatively large batteries, too.
