Xiaomi 17 Ultra: New global model pictured before imminent release

The global launch of the Xiaomi 17 series is no longer a secret. Confirmed for a February 28 arrival, the series is thought to consist of the Leica Edition, not just the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. At the same time, Xiaomi has teased that it will soon be replacing the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro (curr. $469 on Amazon).

While their official launches are still a few days away, the global version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has already turned up on Turkish classifieds. Priced at equivalent to €1,400, the images clearly show the device's global model number. As a result, we suspect that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will begin shipping shortly after its February 28 debut. An exact date remains unknown at this stage, though.

Additionally, the leak has confirmed that Xiaomi will also sell its new Photography Kit globally. Moreover, the handset's eye-catching green colour option will be available outside China too. Currently, Xiaomi is expected to sell its new flagship with 16 of RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of storage to challenge the Galaxy S25 Ultra and its forthcoming successor.
