Xiaomi's Leica Edition flagship pictured before launching globally

Xiaomi's international launch event is just a few days away. Scheduled for February 28, the event is now set to host more than just the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 that were teased initially to replace the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and smaller Xiaomi 15 (curr. $819 on Amazon).
At the same time, rumours have been circulating that Xiaomi would offer its Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition under a different name beyond China. Now, that same device has appeared across several hands-on leaks. Embedded above and below, the images do not appear to have been doctored or manipulated.
Thus, we have every reason to believe at this stage that the 'Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi' is already on sale in some capacity in Thailand. While the Leica Leitzphone closely resembles the Leica Edition, a few differences exist between the pair. For instance, the two-tone design of the Leica Edition has gone. Making way for a dark grey hue, the finish is similar to that used by Leica on many of its cameras.
Additionally, Xiaomi has rotated the Leica lettering, Leica logo and camera hardware inscription by 90 degrees so that they read correctly when the Leica Leitzphone is held in portrait mode. Also, the black frame has been swapped for a silver alternative. At this stage, other aspects seem to remain unchanged, like physical zoom controls hidden beneath the device's rear camera housing.
