Xiaomi announces wider rollout of Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank with 22.5W fast charging

It seems that Xiaomi will bring its Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank to more regions. To look back, this super slim portable charger was initially launched in Japan in January 2026, and later, the company made it available to more countries.
Now, the power bank will have its proper global unveiling at the upcoming Barcelona launch event, where the brand will also introduce the Xiaomi Tag and its current top-end flagship phone to the international market. This event is set for February 28, 2026, but besides the thickness, this portable charger doesn't really have much going on.
For reference, Xiaomi claims that it measures 6mm thick, making it one of the thinnest magnetic wireless power banks in the market. It's also relatively lightweight, weighing 98 grams, but unlike the newly released Qi2.2 portable chargers, this one can't offer 25W of power wirelessly. Instead, it maxes out at 15W.
Of course, there's a USB-C port supporting 22.5W fast charging, but there aren't any other USB ports on the power bank. However, given the lightweight and slim nature of the power bank, this single-port configuration isn't something that can be held against it.
The power bank packs a 5,000mAh Si-C battery, which should be capable of fully recharging many phones once. As for the price, the Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank launched in Japan with a price tag of around $52, while in the UK, it retails for £49.99. More global pricing and availability details will emerge on February 28, but interested buyers who might want to place the order early can import it via AliExpress.
