Xiaomi lists new Apple AirTag competitor on its global website

The Xiaomi Tag has appeared in a new listing on the brand’s global website. Rumors about this accessory began in 2025, and it has since leaked on the Xiaomi France website. Plus, the company recently confirmed that the product would launch globally at an event on February 28th 2026.
The product listing for the Xiaomi Tag confirms that the device supports both the Apple Find My and Google Android Find Hub protocols. It uses Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC, though ultra-wideband (UWB) technology is a notable absence. Features of the Xiaomi Tag include left behind alerts, with a notification served to users when they appear to be separated from their item. Plus, you can use Lost Mode to mark an item as missing and add your chosen contact details. Should a Google Find Hub user come across your belongings, they will be served a pop-up with the owner’s details. Apple Find My users will be able to use an NFC tap to view the saved contact details.
Xiaomi’s Tag has a built-in piezo electric buzzer, producing a sound to help you to find an item when lost nearby. It runs on a replaceable CR2032 battery, which is estimated to run for over a year. The gadget has a white, pendant-like design, meaning it can easily be attached to an item with a strap or keyring. It measures 46.5 x 31.0 x 7.2 mm (~1.83 x 1.22 x 0.28 inches), weighs 10 g (~0.35 oz) and has an IP67 dust and water resistance rating.
As a reminder, in EU countries like France, a single Xiaomi Tag is set to retail for €17.99, with a four-pack priced at €59.99.
