Decathlon launches new version of Rockrider E-ACTV 500 hybrid e-bike

Decathlon has released the Rockrider E-ACTV 500 e-bike in a new colorway in Europe. This hybrid model originally launched in March 2024, and is currently available in Eucalyptus Green, Lavender Purple and Cream Beige.
Now, at the Decathlon online store in countries like France, the Netherlands and Spain, customers are offered a new Peach Orange version of the Rockrider E-ACTV 500. Like its predecessors, it is launching with a €1,999.99 RRP. However, it is worth noting that, in Spain, the three older colorways are now priced at €1,799.99 each.
Aside from the Peach Orange frame, this version of the Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 500 electric hybrid bike is identical to the other variants. It features a Yamaha PW-C2 mid-drive motor offering up to 55 Nm torque and 250W power. It can assist riders at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph), with the 504 Wh battery providing up to 150 km (~93 miles) assistance range in Eco mode.
The Rockrider E-ACTV 500 is an 8-speed e-bike with a Microshift Acolyte derailleur, a Suntour SF15 NEX-E25 suspension fork and Tektro T280 hyrdaulc dsc brakes (160 mm). It also has puncture-resistant Rockrider Protect+ tires, and the handlebar stem can be adjusted from -10° to 60°. Mounted to the handlebars is a color display, showing your current speed and battery percentage. The controller also features a USB-A port, allowing you to charge a smartphone while you ride. Plus, Bluetooth connectivity allows you to view further journey statistics in the free Decathlon Ride app.
Decathlon’s Rockrider E-ACTV 500 has accessories like front and rear lights, and is compatible with a rear luggage carrier, a child seat or a trailer. Its aluminum frame is offered in four sizes from S to XL; size M weighs 24.5 kg (~54.0 lbs). Whether or when this Peach Orange Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 500 e-bike could be released in the UK remains to be seen.
