Aventon has launched the new Current ADV, a high-performance full-suspension electric mountain bike with a competitive price. The e-bike boasts an Ultro X mid-drive motor and a massive 800 Wh battery, which is said to deliver up to 750 W of peak power and up to 105 miles (169 km) of range on a single charge.

Aventon has unveiled its latest eMTB, the Current ADV, in the global market. The company’s new electric mountain bike is paired with Aveton’s in-house mid-drive motor system and eMTB geometry. Speaking more precisely, it is built around a 6061 aluminum frame with modern trail geometry with a 64.6° head tube angle and a 76.6° steeper seat tube angle. The former angle keeps the front end stable on descents, while the latter helps one stay in a strong climbing position.

The Current ADV is powered by Aventon’s self-developed Ultro X mid-drive motor, which is said to provide 110 Nm of torque and up to 750 W of peak power. When Boost mode is activated, the torque rises to 120 Nm and power up to 850 W. This time around, the eMTB boasts a massive 800 Wh battery capacity, and the company claims that it offers up to 105 miles (169 km) of range on a single charge.

Furthermore, it has 29-inch wheels complemented by RockShox suspension with a Psylo Gold fork and RockShox Deluxe Select+ rear shock, offering 150 mm and 140 mm of travel, respectively. The eMTB is equipped with a 12-speed SRAM Eagle 70 transmission coupled with a 10-50T cassette and 34T chainring. As for the braking system, Aventon has incorporated SRAM hydraulic disc brakes with large 200 mm rotors front and rear. Other features include 4G connectivity, GPS tracking, an integrated alarm system, anti-theft protection, wheel lift control, and airtime tracking to log jumps.

The Aventon Current ADV eMTB is priced at $4,599 and available in four frame size options: small, medium, large, and extra-large. Interested buyers can choose from blue and grey color options.
