Batch, a US-based e-bike manufacturer, has introduced its latest urban-focused electric bike, the eCB.3. The company’s new commuter bike is equipped with a 6061 hydroformed aluminum step-through frame complemented by a Zoom hydraulic suspension fork with 80 mm of travel, which further ensures a smoother ride even on rough terrains.
As for tyres, the eCB.3 comes with Kenda 27.5 x 2.4” tires coupled with Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm motors. Batch has incorporated a Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain, which is said to provide relaible gearing across flats and hills with ease. Speaking of powered things, the e-bike is powered by a 500 W Vinka rear hub motor that offers a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h) pedal-assist cruising.
The 48 V and 15 Ah (720 Wh) battery powers the entire system. However, the company hasn’t shared an exact range of the e-bike but we can expect a decent range from its large 720 Wh battery capacity. Furthermore, it ships with a KDS KD-716 LCD display that shows essential driving information like speed, distance covered, current mode, gear, and battery levels. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support app-based controls.
Available in sunset and slate bronze color options, the Batch eCB.3 electric bike is priced at $1,999. Buyers can now purchase the e-bike directly from Batch’s official website and other authorized retailers.
