Recently, Heybike launched a new electric dirt bike in its sports lineup, the Villain. The company’s new performance-focused electric dirt bike is now available for purchase via Heybike’s official website. As for price, interested buyers can purchase the bike for $1,499. As a part of the launch offer, the company is offering $100 off for a limited time, bringing the price down from $1,499 to $1,399. Additionally, the first 80 units will also be receiving a limited gift box of gear valued at $150 completely free.
Speaking of powered things, the Villain is equipped with a mid-drive motor, which is said to produce 4,160 W of peak power and 190 Nm of torque. The powerful motor is paired with a large 1,350 Wh battery. The company claims that the dirt bike offers a top speed of 45 mph (72 km/h) and a maximum range of 50 miles (80 km) on a single charge.
Interestingly, there are selectable speed modes also available that cap output at 38 mph (61 km/h) or 20 mph (32 km/h). Furthermore, it has a hydraulic fork up front that offers 150 mm of travel, while the rear has a nitrogen air shock. You are getting 14-inch front and 12-inch rear tires complemented by hydraulic disc brakes with large 190 mm rotors.
Besides a powerful motor and battery, the Villain has a sturdy carbon steel frame, which is strong enough to handle 265 lbs (120 kg) of load. Other features include an IPX6 water resistance rating, a magnetic safety switch, an LED display, a front white headlight, fast charging support, R-turn reverse assist, and a regenerative braking system (RBS).
