Momentum has launched its latest urban-focused electric bike, the Vida E+. The company’s new e-bike is aimed at the USA urban mobility market and comes with high-end features and a premium price tag. To be more exact, the Vida E+ electric bike is priced at $2,480 and comes in S and L sizes and three color options: abyss black, mountain air, and caramel cinnamon. Buyers can now purchase the e-bike directly from Momentum’s official website.
Momentum has incorporated a SyncDrive Move S 500 W motor that delivers 60 Nm of torque and a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h). At the heart of the e-bike is an Energy 700 Wh battery, which is said to offer a maximum of 55 miles (88.5 km) of range on pedal assist mode and 43 miles (69.2 km) using the throttle assist. The e-bike ships with a low step-thru ALUXX aluminum frame paired with SR Suntour XCM suspension with 80 mm travel.
As for tires, the urban-focused 8-speed electric bike features wide 26 x 2.4” tires complemented by 4-piston front and rear hydraulic brakes, which ensures a smooth ride on various terrains, said Momentum in its press release. There’s a full-color LCD display mounted on the right side of the handlebar, which shows information like maximum speed, Bluetooth connectivity, battery levels, headlight sign, and more.
The Vida E+ weighs around 61.7 lbs (28 kg) (including the main battery inside) and can handle payloads of up to 300 lbs (136 kg) (including rider, cargo, and accessories). Furthermore, it’s compatible with a range of accessories, including an optional throttle, bike lights, fenders, a rearview mirror, pannier bags, cargo straps, front and rear racks, and more.
