New Decathlon Van Rysel E-GRVL AF Discover e-bike released

The Decathlon Van Rysel E-GRVL AF Discover e-bike is now available in Europe. This electric gravel bike is the latest model to join the E-GRVL AF range, sitting alongside the refreshed E-GRVL AF HD Mahle X35 e-bikes which were released earlier in 2025.

The Van Rysel E-GRVL AF Discover is described by Decathlon as “the Swiss Army knife of electric bikes”, suited to everyday use or bikepacking. It is powered by a Decathlon brushless 250W 35 Nm motor fitted to the rear wheel. This can assist the rider at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph) across three modes: Eco, Tour and Sport. The accompanying removable 360 Wht battery is said to provide up to 100 km (~60 miles) of assistance range, with a full charge taking around 4.5 hours.

The new E-GRVL AF Discover is equipped with a Shimano Cues 1x11 transmission, with Shimano RS405 hydraulic disc brake (160 mm) and Vittoria Terreno T30 tires. On the handlebar is a 2-inch Ergo 920 TFT color screen, which can show information like your current speed, your chosen assistance level and the remaining range (in km); it is worth noting that the unit does not offer Bluetooth connectivity. Other accessories include a 60 lux front light and rear lights, both powered by the battery, and remote control buttons to adjust the assistance level. With an aluminum frame, featuring a carbon and aluminum fork, the size M (medium) bike weighs 17.7 kg (~39.0 lbs).

You can now buy the Decathlon Van Rysel E-GRVL AF Discover e-bike in khaki in the Netherlands for €2,299.99, and in other European countries like France and Spain for €2,199.99. It is unclear whether or when this model could be released in the UK.
