Decathlon releases new version of Van Rysel E-GRVL e-bike

A new version of the Van Rysel E-GRVL AF HD Mahle X35 SRAM Apex 1x12 e-bike has arrived at Decathlon in some European countries. This model is now available with a black frame, in sizes S, M and L. This joins the original blue colorway, which has been around since 2024.

You can buy the black Van Rysel E-GRVL AF HD Mahle X35 SRAM Apex 1x12 e-bike in the Netherlands for €2,999.99, the same price as the blue version. It is slightly cheaper in countries like Spain and France, where it retails for €2,899.99, again matching the cost of the blue variant.

The black version of the Van Rysel E-GRVL AF HD appears to have the same specifications as the latest model, released earlier in 2025. These include a 250W Mahle X35+ motor, providing assistance at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph) with 40 Nm torque. The accompanying 250 Wh battery is said to provide up to 100 km (~62 miles) range, and the full carbon fork should make your ride more comfortable. Other features include Hutchinson Touareg 700x45 tires, SRAM Apex hydraulic disc brakes, and front and rear lighting accessories.

Compared to the original version of the E-GRVL AF HD, released in 2024, the latest model has been upgraded to a SRAM Apex 1x12 groupset and also features the Mahle Pulsar One ANT+ eBike computer. With a 6061 T6 aluminum frame, the medium (M) size Van Rysel E-GRVL AF HD Mahle X35 SRAM Apex 1x12 e-bike weighs 14.5 kg (~32.0 lbs).
