The DJI Osmo Nano will be officially launching tomorrow, less than a month after the arrival of the company's Mini 5 Pro drone. Incidentally, the Osmo Nano will actually be one of three action cameras debuting on September 23.
Based on last-minute leaks, the other two will be the GoPro Max 2 and GoPro Lit Hero. Ultimately, it seems that GoPro is looking to overshadow DJI's launch event, which will occur an hour before GoPro's starts.
In the meantime, The New Camera has managed to obtain photos of the Osmo Nano's retail packaging ahead of its imminent release. In the process, the images confirm that the Osmo Nano will arrive with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor capable of shooting 4K videos at 60 FPS, just like the Osmo Action 5 Pro before it (curr. $349 on Amazon).
Moreover, the Osmo Nano will support 10-bit and D-Log M, as well as a 143° field of view (FoV) for shooting ultra-wide videos. On top of that, DJI will include accessories like a magnetic lanyard, a protective case and a magnetic hat clip in the box. DJI is rumoured to have priced the Osmo Nano at €369 in the Eurozone, with an extra €30 being charged for a 128 GB storage variant. Unfortunately, details of US pricing have not emerged yet, although DJI is expected to offer its new action camera there.
