DJI has confirmed the global launch for another of its long-awaited devices. Just yesterday, the company revealed the official release date for the Mini 5 Pro, full details of which we have covered separately. Now, it has turned to the Osmo Nano, whose existence was first rumoured in January.
As always, DJI has decided against referring to the Osmo Nano by name. Instead, the company has only provided a glimpse of the device in its teaser video. Embedded below, the video confirms that DJI will follow tomorrow's Mini 5 Pro launch event with one next Tuesday. Just like the Mini 5 Pro before it, we suspect that DJI will begin accepting pre-orders shortly after 12:00 UTC on September 23.
Moreover, DJI's video indicates that the Osmo Nano will return to the modular design of the Action 2 (curr. $289 on Amazon) from 2021 as a foil for the likes of the Insta360 Go 3S and Go Ultra. Unfortunately, full specifications for DJI's next action camera remain unknown for now. With that being said, the Osmo Nano is expected to start at €369 (~$436) with 64 GB of storage. Alternatively, the action camera should be available with twice as much storage for €399 (~$472).
