Earlier today, DJI shared details for what will become its second launch event of November. While the company is preparing to release the Osmo Mobile 8 tomorrow outside China, the Osmo Action 6 will be less than two weeks behind. Ahead of its full debut on November 18, billbil-kun claims to have received pricing for the new action camera ahead of time.
Writing on Dealabs, the leaker indicates that DJI hopes to offer the Osmo Action 6 in two bundles. On the one hand, there is said to be Standard Bundle Combo, just like the Osmo Action 5 Pro before (curr. $349 on Amazon). If last year's Osmo Action release is anything to go by, then the Standard Bundle will include the Osmo Action 6 itself, as well as accessories like a removable battery, a protective frame, lens protectors and adapters for attaching the camera to various objects and surfaces.
Apparently, the Standard Bundle will retail for £329 in the UK and €379 in the Eurozone. If that is the case, then it would see the Osmo Action 6 price matching its predecessor in these markets. On the other hand, the Adventure Combo will allegedly line up with a £10 surcharge in the UK, bringing it to £419 in the process.
Conversely, billbil-kun asserts that Adventure Combo will maintain a €479 MSRP in the Eurozone for the Osmo Action 6 generation. For the time being, the same leaker clarifies that the US pricing information they have received is not final. Nonetheless, they suggest that the US may be subject to $30 price increases across the board. In other words, the Osmo Action 6 may start at $379 in the US and could rise to $479 when purchased as an Adventure Combo bundle.
