The DJI Osmo Nano has launched as the company's lightest wearable action camera. It promises flexible mounting options with the double-sided magnetic design, and its 1/1.3-inch sensor is said to be capable of taking professional-level captures.

DJI has officially unveiled the Osmo Nano, its lightest wearable action camera. The company says that it's designed for hands-free shooting, and it can be mounted on helmets, hats, lanyards, and even pet collars, thanks to the double-sided magnetic design.

This new action camera comes with a 1/1.3-inch sensor that's capable of offering a dynamic range of up to 13.5 stops. DJI says that it's powered by a new image processor that lets the wearable cam offer video recording at up to 4K 60 FPS and slow-mo captures at 4K 120 FPS.

The company further notes that the camera has a 143° field of view, and with support for 10-bit D-Log-M, it's said to offer the flexibility that creators often require. There's a SuperNight Mode, which is said to deliver improved low-light captures, and with Horizon Balancing and RockSteady 3.0, the action cam is claimed to handle stabilization well.

As for the build, the Osmo Nano weighs 52 grams and measures 57 × 29 × 28 mm. The action camera is waterproof for up to 10 meters, and when paired with the Multifunctional Vision Dock, it gains an IPX4 splash resistance rating. This dock can charge the action cam to 80% in 20 minutes, offer high-speed data transfers (3.3-feet Ugreen USB4 v2 type-C cable curr. $16.49 on Amazon), and allow up to 200 minutes of 1080p recording when fully charged.

To capture audio, the DJI Osmo Nano comes with a dual microphone setup with support for OsmoAudio Direct Connection, which allows users to pair wireless microphones. Other highlights include gesture controls, automated recording intervals, and pre-recording features.

Price-wise, the Osmo Nano with 64 GB storage costs €279, while the 128 GB version goes for €309. DJI is also offering additional accessories for this lightweight action camera, including an ND filter set, quick-release mount, and magnetic headband.
