Igor Bogdanov has shared fresh evidence that Insta360 is working on a new action camera. To recap, a photo and drawing of an unreleased camera emerged last month. Since then, focus has shifted to DJI's upcoming crop of alternatives, which should start with the Osmo 360 on July 31.
Meanwhile, Insta360 has not started teasing the launches of any new action cameras yet. Nonetheless, Bogdanov has obtained more footage showing the same unreleased camera being used in public. While the leaker has not provided a source, they insist that the camera pictured is an upcoming Insta360 product.
Based on previous evidence, Insta360 may launch the camera as the Insta360 Go 4S. Theoretically, this would be a logical successor to last year's Go 3S (curr. $399.99 on Amazon). While one may have expected the Go 4 to arrive first, Insta360 introduced the Flow 2 Pro months before the Flow 2 earlier this year. Although specifications for Insta360's reputed new action camera have not emerged yet, its apparent public reappearance suggests we are not far off from an official release.
