A spate of unreleased DJI products have surfaced online lately. For context, dozens of Osmo 360 pictures leaked earlier this month before DJI released the Mavic 4 Pro. Shortly afterwards, the Mini 5 Pro appeared on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) before early details about the Avata 3 drone and Osmo Pocket 4 camera emerged in separate leaks.
Now, the long-rumoured Osmo Nano has hit the same US regulatory body across two listings. As various sources note, the Osmo Nano appears to be a spiritual successor to the Action 2 (curr. $229 on Amazon), whose modular design has not returned for future Osmo Action generations. Instead, DJI reverted to the rectangular form factor of its GoPro and Insta360 rivals. As always, the FCC does not explicitly confirm that the Osmo Nano comes in two parts.
However, DJI has certified two Osmo Nano variants, OD00125 and ON00125. Based on the documentation that has emerged so far, the former relates to a display portion given its 'OD' model number. By contrast, ON00125 appears to be the action camera element, which has led the likes of Jasper Ellens to conclude that the pair communicate like with that Action 2. At this stage, it is unclear when DJI will officially announce the Osmo Nano. For now at least, the compact action camera is expected to arrive before the end of the year.
