There have been plenty of rumours about DJI having developed new drones of late. In summary, early details about the Avata 3, Mini 5 Pro and Neo 2 have emerged online in the last few days. Meanwhile, it looks as though DJI could soon be expanding its Osmo range with the Osmo Pocket 4 and Osmo Nano.
Now, it seems that a new DJI is preparing to renew its microphone offering. To recap, the company introduced the Mic Mini last winter (curr. $59 on Amazon) as a cheaper alternative to the existing Mic 2. Early indications suggest that DJI is working toward replacing the Mic 2, which should not come as a surprise given its age at this point.
Currently, the DJI Mic 3 has only appeared on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). As always, the regulatory body has not revealed too many details yet. With that being said, it has confirmed that the Mic 3 Receiver will be joined by a new charging case. Also, the FCC's documentation implies that DJI's Receiver will return with a small squircle-shaped display. Likewise, the regulatory body indicates that the DJI Mic 3 package will officially arrive by the autumn, possibly by late October.
