The last few days have been awash with DJI-related leaks. Most recently, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revealed that DJI is developing an Osmo Nano action camera, having divulged similar information about the Mini 5 Pro drone a few days prior. On top of that, evidence of Avata 3, Osmo 360 and Osmo Pocket 4 have all emerged online in separate leaks.
At the time of publication, DJI has not begun teasing any new products yet. Instead, it is still basking in the release of the Mavic 4 Pro, which replaced the Mavic 3 Pro earlier this month with a host of camera upgrades and other upgrades. Nonetheless, Jasper Ellens has spotted another unreleased DJI drone that is expected to launch later this year.
According to Ellens, recently leaked footage of the Avata 3 also contained a brief glimpse of the long-rumoured Neo 2. On the face of it, the small drone looks like the existing DJI Neo (curr. $289 on Amazon). However, the white stickers adorning its body indicate that the drone is a prototype rather than a retail unit. DJI does not offer double-layered propeller guards on the existing Neo, either. Thus, it seems probable that the company is actively testing the Neo 2 alongside the Avata 3 before it offers the pair later this year.
