Over the weekend, a new set of DJI Osmo 360 pictures surfaced online via various sources. Rumoured for months at this point, current expectations are that DJI will unleash its GoPro Max and Insta360 X5 rival this summer. Potentially, DJI's other upcoming action camera will not be far behind, either.
To recap, details about the Osmo Action 6 first surfaced in December 2024, courtesy of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). At the time, we suspected that DJI would officially unveil its next action camera by early 2025. While that has not occurred, the FCC has now published dozens of Osmo Action 6 photos online.
As Hakasushi and others stress, the images are not necessarily of DJI's final design. With that being said, the design of the Osmo Action 5 Pro (curr. $349 on Amazon) did not drastically change between its FCC certification and its retail release. To that end, the FCC has also included the Action 6's user manual, which mentions features like Bluetooth 5.1 Low Energy and Wi-Fi 6 support to match the Osmo Action 5 Pro.
Based on the images below, the Osmo Action 6 will eventually launch with a familiar dual display set-up and a single oversized camera housing. Unfortunately, the purpose of the pill-shaped element beneath the camera's front-facing display is unclear for now. Likewise, pricing and availability are still a mystery at the time of publication.
