DJI has certified a slew of devices with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) lately. For reference, the FCC has published regulatory documents for the Flip, Mavic 4 Pro and Mini 5 drones in the last month or so. However, it turns out that DJI may have a new action camera waiting in the wings, too.
For context, the Osmo Action 5 Pro arrived less than three months ago in mid-September. Nonetheless, the FCC has now confirmed that DJI is already developing a successor of sorts bearing the model number AC006. Surprisingly, DJI sought approval from the regulatory body at the start of November, which is a particularly short turnaround from the release of the Osmo Action 5 Pro (curr. $349 on Amazon).

However, DJI filed similar documents with the SGS towards the end of October. As the screenshots show, both regulatory bodies refer to the AC006 by its retail name 'Osmo Action 6'. Moreover, they confirm that the action camera supports Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, along with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Furthermore, separate documents refer to two battery capacities of 1,770 mAh (3.85V/6.81 Wh) and 1,950 mAh battery (3.87V/7.55 Wh). Although other details remain unknown for now, we imagine that the Osmo Action 6 will officially debut early next year.
