Insta360's next action camera has appeared online again in a new set of leaks. Seemingly, Insta360 will only go up against DJI and GoPro this year with a single release rather than with Ace and Ace Pro successors.

Leaks about Insta360's next action camera release are now coming thick and fast. While the company has not confirmed anything yet, the Ace Pro 2 turned up in a new set of hands-on images only a few days ago. For reference, these followed a similar leak that occurred at the start of September.

Now, Arsène Lupin has provided a first look at official product imagery, which they have posted on X (formerly Twitter). As such, there is little left for Insta360 to unveil whenever it gets around to publicly announcing its successor to last year's Ace Pro (curr. $349.99 on Amazon). Based on the images below, little has changed visually between the Ace Pro and the Ace Pro 2.

Thus, the Ace Pro 2 has a relatively small front display that Insta360 complements with a much larger rear panel. Moreover, the latter remains attached to a hinge mechanism so that it can be flipped up when necessary. Seemingly, the greatest external change is the protruding grille that sits beneath the largely unchanged camera housing.

Unfortunately, it remains to be seen how this will be used, although we would not be surprised if it were protecting an improved microphone array. Likewise, it is still unclear when Insta360 will release the Ace Pro 2. However, the appearance of product images implies that the action camera may debut in the next few weeks or so. Additionally, it seems that Insta360 will release only one action camera this year, rather than the Ace Pro 2 and a cheaper Ace 2.
