DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro: Retailer confirms upgrade for action camera fans but also huge price increase
Quite a few Osmo Action 5 Pro-related leaks have occurred in the last few weeks. Officially, DJI remains quiet about releasing its Osmo Action 4 (curr. $269 on Amazon) successor. However, Jasper Ellens has now shared evidence of the device's first publicly known retailer listing, evidence of which we have embedded below.
Building on previous leaks, the retail listings not only reveal the MSRP of two SKUs but also showcase numerous official images. As far as we can tell, MediaMarkt currently has listed the Osmo Action 5 Pro in its standard and Adventure Combo trims. The company has done so across its French and Dutch-speaking Belgian websites though, which is why there are four product listings linked below.

Details here
As expected, the Osmo Action 5 Pro features a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor that outputs at 40 MP. In other words, the new action camera has a 4x higher native resolution than DJI's current model. With that being said, the Osmo Action 5 Pro retain its predecessor's 155° field of view (FOV), its f/2.8 aperture and peak 4K/120 FPS (16:9) video capture. Based on the images below, DJI will release the Osmo Action 5 Pro for €379, a 26% increase from the Osmo Action 4's €299 MSRP
Likewise, roughly the same gap exists between the pair's Adventure Combo packs, although there is actually a €100 uplift in this regard. Unfortunately, none of MediaMarkt's listings offer any details about a possible release date. According to Ellens, DJI will introduce the Osmo Action 5 Pro in early October; the leaker has not provided specifics yet, though.
