DJI Air 3S: Leakers offer conflicting release dates for new DJI drone
Leakers have started speculating about the prospect of DJI releasing a new device once again. For context, not too much time has passed since @Quadro_News and others pontificated on the whereabouts of the DJI Neo and Osmo Action 5 Pro. This time, leakers have turned to the Air 3S, which has been pictured a few times in the last couple of weeks.
Specifically, the Air 3S has now been shown in the DJI Fly app, which has prompted discussions about the drone's release. According to @Quadro_News, DJI is 'tentatively' lining up the Air 3S for October. For reference, the drone would not only supersede the Air 2S in DJI's product stack, but also last year's Air 3.

On the other hand, @OstseeCopter has shared evidence of an apparent official teaser showing the date September 25. Seemingly reposted to Facebook, the image appears to originate from Chinese social media. Unfortunately, we cannot find any evidence of it on Weibo or DJI's Chinese website, though.
In the meantime, DJI is set to fully release the Osmo Action 5 Pro, which is due on September 19. By contrast, the DJI Neo is already available in multiple markets (curr. $199 on Amazon). Added to that, it seems that DJI may soon announce a smaller alternative to its RS 4 and RS 4 Pro camera gimbals, coverage of which we have provided separately.
