DJI Air 3S: New later than expected release date leaks with full spec sheet and new RC Track accessory
Leaks pertaining to DJI's next drone are well underway, having dried up a bit in the last few weeks. As usual, @JasperEllens and @Quadro_News are at the centre of new DJI-related information, which is now focused on the possibility of the company replacing the Air 3 (curr. $1,239 on Amazon).
Building on yesterday, the pair have now delivered new promotional shots of the Air 3S, which we have embedded below. Added to that, @JasperEllens has listed what appears to be an official spec sheet for the upcoming drone, again embedded below. In short, the spec sheet includes all key details like camera hardware, peak flight times and overall weight.

As far as we can tell, the DJI Air 3S will offer up to 12,800 ISO sensitivity across its two cameras, which is up from 6,000 in older Air drones. Moreover, DJI has included LiDAR sensors this time around to maximise safety when flying in low light. Allegedly, DJI intends to announce the Air 3S on October 23 and not October 15 as previous rumours suggested.
With that being said, we would not be surprised if DJI announced a new launch event around October 15 for October 23. Incidentally, it seems that the Air 3S will be compatible with a new accessory called the RC Track, which Ellens describes as a 'tracking beacon to control and let the drone follow you'.
