Goggles N3: Image of new DJI FPV headset leaks with spec downgrades also mentioned
DJI has introduced quite a few products in the last couple of months. Specifically, the company started with its latest spate of releases by offering up the Neo (curr. $199 on Amazon), a 135 g drone that it swiftly followed up with the Osmo Action 5 Pro action camera. Then yesterday, DJI presented the Air 3S, which had leaked numerous times throughout the summer and early autumn.
However, details about the Mavic 4, RC Track and Goggles N3 have also turned up online in the midst of all these launches. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when any of these will be officially unveiled. Nonetheless, Jasper Ellens has now provided a first look at what could be a retail version of the latter.
According to Ellens, DJI has designed the Goggles N3 to be used with the Neo, which is in line with earlier rumours. As such, the Goggles N3 will contain less advanced hardware than the Goggles 3 that debuted alongside the Avata 2.
Although specifications have not leaked yet, Ellens reports that the Goggles N3 will be cheap and light but rather cumbersome compared to the Goggles 3. Moreover, the forthcoming first-person view (FPV) goggles are said to feature a single display and support for OcuSync 4 (O4) video transmission.
