There is no sign of the Mavic 4 series yet or associated enterprise drones. However, it seems that DJI has now quietly introduced the remote controller that it will eventually offer with its next flagship drones like the Inspire 4. Ultimately, the company has not officially acknowledged as much publicly.
Nonetheless, Dronenr has spotted the successor to the RC Plus (curr. $1,599 on Amazon) on listings for DJI's new Agras T70 and T100 agricultural drones. In short, the RC Plus 2 adds DJI O4 video transmission, which the RC Plus lacks by virtue of supporting drones like the Inspire 3. As a result, the RC Plus 2 has a 2 km longer range than its predecessor.
Moreover, Dronenr has noticed other changes, including refreshed speaker vents, new rubber bumpers and a minor redesign. With that being said, the new remote control retains a 7-inch display and the same button layout as its predecessor. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when DJI will offer the RC Plus 2 outside China at this stage.
