According to a new report, DJI has set a release date for a new budget FPV headset. Allegedly launching early next month, the DJI Goggles N3 should hit a much lower price point than the existing Goggles 3 while offering support for DJI's Avata 2 and Neo drones from day 1.

Earlier this week, Jasper Ellens showcased the first image of the Goggles N3, which is thought to be one of many devices that DJI has in the pipeline. For reference, others include the RS 4 Mini, as well as the Mic Mini and Osmo 360.

Now, the same leak claims to have received information about the Goggles N3's release window. Writing on X (formerly Twitter), the leaker alleges that DJI has decided to officially introduce the first-person view (FPV) headset during the first full week of November. Specifically, Ellens expects DJI to announce the Goggles N3 on November 5 or November 7 rather than during the first few days of next month.

Moreover, the leaker reports that the Goggles N3 will be compatible with the Avata 2 and Neo (curr. $199 on Amazon) at launch. Presumably, this also means that support for the DJI FPV and original Avata will not be forthcoming. Currently, most specifications for the Goggles N3 remain unknown, as does pricing. With that being said, the Goggles N3 is expected to adopt a single display and more basic design to hit a much lower price point than the Goggles 3.
