The DJI Air 3S has been heavily leaked in the weeks leading up to its launch, with major details already available. According to previous reports from early October, the drone will feature a dual-camera system—a 50 MP wide-angle lens paired with a 48 MP medium telephoto lens—offering more options for aerial photography. Its video capabilities will include 4K video at 60fps and 4K slow motion at 120fps, alongside advanced shooting formats like 10-bit D-log-M and HLG.
Other leaked specs confirm a 45-minute flight time, internal storage of 42 GB, and support for up to 512 GB MicroSD cards. The Air 3S will also introduce a LiDAR-based obstacle detection system, a big safety upgrade over its predecessor, the DJI Air 2S (currently $894 on Amazon).
With a launch event scheduled for tomorrow, October 15, expectations are high. The price will likely start at €1,359 (~$1,492), bundled with DJI’s RC 2 remote controller.
