The first footage showing retail DJI Air 3S units has started appearing online. Not only does the leak show DJI's new drone up close, but it also confirms launch accessories and hardware upgrades from older models.

DJI remains quiet for the moment about the prospect of replacing the Air 2S and Air 3 (curr. $870 on Amazon). Nonetheless, leaks that have surfaced in the last few days have showcased the Air 3S as DJI's next drone release. Incidentally, the Mavic 4 has also been spotted on the FCC, coverage of which we have provided separately.

Now, a 2:20 minute video showing the Air 3S has been published online courtesy of @Quadro_News. As far as we can tell, the unboxing video is of a retail unit rather than a prototype. Although there is no confirmation of this, its packaging suggests as much. Specifically, it appears that this is one of DJI's 'Fly More Combo' packages, which will pair the Air 3S with a remote controller, a shoulder bag and various other accessories.

In short, it seems that a global release appears imminent, presumably later this month. Moreover, the footage shown below highlights a few of the upgrades that DJI hopes will help distinguish the Air 3S from the Air 2S and Air 3. Reportedly, DJI has equipped its new drone with a 1-inch type and 50 MP primary camera, which will be joined by a 1/1.3-inch and 48 MP telephoto camera.
