MINISFORUM reveals higher than expected pricing for new EliteMini AI370 mini-PC
A few days have now passed since MINISFORUM announced the EliteMini AI370. While the company outlined all key details about the new mini-PC, it elected against confirming a release date or launch pricing. Surprisingly, it decided to start selling 129i7 and 790S7 mini-PCs instead, launch details of which we have covered separately.
Now, MINISFORUM has revealed one-half of the EliteMini AI370's release puzzle. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when anyone will be capable of actually buying its Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-powered mini-PC. However, the EliteMini AI370 will cost at least $849 before factoring in any launch discounts. To that end, MINISFORUM is offering a $50 coupon to be redeemed against an EliteMini AI370 if you subscribe to receive more information on its website.
Thus, it should be possible to pick up the mini-PC for $799, but only if you jump through some proverbial hoops beforehand. As VideoCardz notes, either price represents a substantial increase over predecessors like the EliteMini UM780 XTX, which started at $439 as a barebones unit. Although it remains to be seen whether $849 includes RAM and storage, the EliteMini UM780 XTX can be configured with 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD for under $650 (curr. $647 on Amazon).
